A weekend in Munich/Neuschwanstein 29/11-01/12/2019

There is already a huge waiting list! When someone of the regular list doesn’t pay, their registration will get cancelled and people from the waiting list will move to the regular list. If that happens you will get an email! Only people from the regular list can come by to pay.

Munich is famous for its picturesque location at the fringe of the Alps, its plentiful beer gardens typical for the Bavarian way of life or the Münchner Hofbräuhaus. So it’s high time for StudIT to once again pay a visit to the beautiful capital of Bavaria!

Join us on a weekend full of new impressions and experience an Old Town soaked in history! On Friday afternoon, we will visit the concentration camp of Dachau. In Munich, you will explore the numerous sights such as the English Garden, Odeonsplatz or Marienplatz during our walking tour through Munich. In the evening you can check out the vivid night life of the biggest Bavarian city!
Moreover, Munich has lots of museums and art galleries which you could visit. Also Nymphenburg Castle is not far away and is worth a walk!

As a special treat we will go to Schwangau – the home of fairytale castle Neuschwanstein. There we will have a nice little walk around the Eibsee to finish up our weekend and take a few pictures in front of one of the most famous backdrops of Germany.

(The castle is currently being renovated, so most of the few rooms one is allowed to go in are under construction. This is why we have decided against booking a tour through the castle, since there is not as much to see anyways.)

We will return on Sunday, in the evening, at roughly 8 pm (depending on traffic).

The costs for the weekend amount to 75€ per person. The fee includes 2 nights with breakfast in Hostel 4 You, the trip to and from Munich in our own comfortable coach, the entrance fee for the concentration camp as well as the tickets for public transportation.

When? Friday, 29/11/2019, at 7.40 am (departure 8 am, so be punctual!)
Where? Tübingen Main Station, bus platform D
Costs: 75,00€

As usual, you can sign up for the event here.
