In order to welcome the winter in a proper way, we’re heading to the most southern village in Germany: Oberstdorf! And why? Because Oberstdorf offers everything we need for enjoying winter sports: The famous alpine skiing region at Nebelhorn, Söllereck and Fellhorn / Kanzelwand. Modern snow machines will guarantee snowy mountains – all together there are 130km of slopes that are waiting to be discovered!
If you are looking for a weekend with lots of fun and action in the snow, you are totally right here. On our ski-weekend we want to spend 3 wonderful days in one of Germany`s most famous ski regions in the south of Bavaria. Oberstdorf – beside it’s skiing areas – is e.g. also famous for it’s “Four Hills Tournament” in the discipline of ski jumping – this contest exists already since 1953!
Apart from skiing, there will be many more activities offered for you: a nightly walk through the snow with burning torches, drinking “hot wine” and, for sure: celebrating the après-ski and so on… !!! 🙂 You haven’t been to an alpine skiing area yet and you’re not able to ski or snowboard yourself? No problem! Every rookie can participate: for beginners we will offer ski-classes at a local professional ski-school directly in the skiing area, and you will be able to rent the required material (ski, boots, helmet). Everyone is welcome to join us.
Concerning the expenses:
In case you got your own equipment and you´re confident in skiing or snowboarding, the whole weekend will cost only 196€. Included are: Bus from Tübingen to Oberstdorf and back, hostel and food (breakfast and dinner) and a liftpass for 3 days.
In case you need additional equipment (ski/snowboard, boots, helmet) for the 3 days, the trip will cost 223€.
In case you want to learn how to ski from a teacher from the local skischool in a 2,5 days-course, the trip will cost only 263€, liftpass as well as equipment included!
There will be a obligatory pre-meeting on Friday, 16th December at 6pm to provide you more information and to answer all open questions. (Please be on time!) The location will be announced in advance!
You must register for the trip online as soon as possible here, since we got only limited places! Be quick with your registration an payment and save your spot for this amazing trip!
You can pay in our office hour mondays from 2pm to 4pm in Wilhelmstraße 9 in room 116! Please pay with cash, you will get a receipt as a ticket for the trip. The spots will be secured until Monday November 14th, after that date everybody from the waiting list is welcome to pay as long as there are spots!
Important additional information:
If you can´t come to the information meeting, please contact us to recieve all necessary information. You can stop by in our office hour. Furthermore it is obligatory to wear a helmet at all times during skiing or snowboarding at this trip!
