Dear people,
at the end of Springbreak holidays we prepared a special treat for you: A
hiking trip to one of the most beautiful places near Tübingen – the
Wurmlinger Kapelle.
On June 15th, 10.30 am, we meet up at the
Freibad Tübingen (Public Pool). On our way, we will pass the Old Zoo,
that existed in the beginning of the 20th century. Afterwards, we are
hiking on top of the Hirschauer Berg to the Wurmlinger Kapelle, to which
Ludwig Uhland, a famous Tübingen-born poet, dedicated a poem. There, you
can visit the chapel and enjoy the view over the environment.
We will BBQ there, so please bring something to eat. It would be also
good if you brought enough liquids for the hiking trip will last three
hours (one way). Maybe you should also bring a hat, sun screen and
insect repellent.
After the BBQ, you can either use public
transportation back to Tübingen or walk the beautiful path along the
Ammer valley. The trip will be free.
